OK . . . .so, below are pics from the recent New Orleans Film Festival. . .who: Fran, Liz, Jennifer and Sam. . . when: sometime in October 2007. . .when: New Orleans (obviously). . . .I can not vouch for a truly accurate chronology of the pics below. . . additional photo credit due to Liz and Jennifer. ..we flew down on a Saturday morning, partied Saturday night, recovered Sunday on a river boat cruise, toured the Garden District on Monday and made it to the screening of THE POOL on Monday night. . . .I will now let the pics tell the rest of the story. . . .start scrolling. . .

Our last night . . . Body of Christ. . .just moments before our best meal EVER in New Orleans

....on the 4 mile walk home (thanks Eugenia!) from the Garden District...I am not doing a V for Victory dance.....that's the "numb knuckles" move...induced by aforementioned 4 mile walk home (I'll give you a tip Eugenia, the post card won't get you in for free)

Recovery River Cruise onboard the Natchez with Sexy Voice guy Ron. . . Thanks for the Shout Out big guy....not that we saw anybody from the cruise at the screening but it did make us feel like celebrities for a moment....we also had the best Bloody Mary's EVA on board the Natchez...also from here we could see the parts of New Orleans that were affected by Katrina, "Americas's Greatest Tragedy" TM. Mostly were still hurting so bad from the night before...

Filmmaker party at the W Hotel New Orleans. ..we hit it and we hit it hard that night! Started with dinner at Cochon (thanks to our Culinary Consultant Jennifer!). Then we hit the VIP room at the piano bar where we spent most of the time avoiding Vince vaughn (not justthe same date but EXACT same birthday). Next, filmmaker party at the W....the open bar never seemed to close! Pics here with the filmmaker girls, rebecca from New Orleans, Ford (!!!) and our dear friend Anne (does SHE have a script for YOU). Finally we drank that bar dry so moved onto the Krazy Korner on Bourbon Street...Liz fell in lurv. Look to "comments" for more details from other actual participants. . . .

Liz, Sam & Jen hit the French Quarter on Saturday afternoon (Fran took the pic)....our plan was to hand out postcards for the film to every wait person and bartender we encountered, and we planned on meeting quite a few...which we did and they all said that they were coming...that turned out not to be the case...maybe I shouldn't have kept saying that the postcard wouldn't get them in for free...
