The majestic Santa Elena canyon!

Headed down to Terlingua this weekend. Packed a lot into 36 hours! Stayed at Upstairs at the Mansion Highly recommended! Dinner at Starlight Theater, play at La Kiva, and drinks back at Starlight. Next day canoeing on Rio Grande and a hike to Fern Canyon. Good Times!

that's what they called it)

A gardener's best tool...

...is a good margarita! Because the time it takes to drink it is about
the same amount of time that it takes to soak a hole and make it easy
to dig and place this desert willow!

Grasses

Two Mexican grasses doing ok...not all of them doing as well
unfortunately...but these are so pretty! Definitely need to get some
more.

My pride & joy

The ocotillos harvested from the Love Ranch all four either have
leaves or have flowered! Wish I'd been here when that happened!
Perhaps with some more rain they'll flower again this summer!

Chollo (yes, also flowering)

This is the first time I've seen most of these plants flower in my own
yard! The chollos were a gift from an old neighbor...I have two and
both are doing well!

Another yucca

This one I bought...but look at the pups growing below and the spear
growing at the top!

Look back at some of the earlier pics to see how this has grown. It's
one of the few plants that were originally on the property!
