I was out of town at 8am Monday morning on a three hour drive back to El Paso which takes you through the almost ghost town of Valentine and then passed Prada Marfa (see previous posts).... but this time the sculpture had some ironic new additions...funny!

After LA it was on to Far West Texas! First night in the historic Gage Hotel which is always great! Then on to Marfa...it was Pledge Drive time at the radio station so I manned a stand and tried to drum up some business....Friday night was the opening of a Ballroom show Hello Meth Lab in the Sun kicking myself that I don't have any photos of that that cause it's way to difficult to describe...then Saturday Night the Psychic Ills (don't ask) played at Liberty Hall...Sunday was a hike in Davis Mountains State Park with Clifford...For Marfa Pics check out tab on the left for September 2006 (oldies but goodies)

Sunday afternoon in LA! Joel, Violet and Cosmo....we're at LACMA and Violet is growing in crazy new tooth!
