Still MONDAY: late afternoon, headed over to dinner at the house across the bay with the glass floor. Fantastic shepherd's pie!

Next up, we have a Salcombe seagull; Mum on the ferry ride back again; Griff and Fish, and the beach outside our house.

MONDAY (can we say that this was like the day after New Year's Eve in the metaphor I started a few posts back) . . . . We took the fery back over to Salcombe and had a few drinks at the Yacht Club where Griff got hit by a flying umbrella, then met up with more of the gang for lunch . . . I'm runnning out of steam on the captions but in the next group of photos we have Griff (and Fish's handiwork on his head); Rene and Tilda (EJ's mum and neice); Mum and Matt; Rae (EJ's dad), Griff and Bowsie; and Jude and Bowsie.

SUNDAY continued. . .
More food, more drinking. . . seen here, Mac (a bridesmaid) and Millie; a view of Salcombe at dusk; a bunch of drunks from Sydney, and an even drunker matt continuing a marine theme that we found in the house.

Boxing Day barbecue on SUNDAY after the wedding - we'd barely cleaned up after the post wedding party and fireworks at the house the night before, when we had Freddie, Tilda, Oliver and Bethanny climbing out of boats and banging on doors ready to start on the next round of the wedding marathon. In this batch of pics we Kate G and Linda (matt's friends from Sydney); Bob (another of EJ's brothers) and his wife Jaq (with matt and EJ); Freddie the bartender (Jaq and Bob's kid); and Matt and I.

SATURDAY arrived and Matt and EJ got hitched without a hitch! The ceremony down on the water, under a clear blue sky. .. it couldn't have been more perfect. Afterwards cocktails and dinner (lamb on a spit!!!!) at Rene and Rae's (EJ's parents') house on the hill with an incredible view - see pic above for evidence. Just came back from MATT AND EJ's WEDDING extravaganza . . . unfortunately there will be no pics for a while of the actual wedding as I was shooting video during the ceremomy. . .mostly what I have here is the shenanigans that went on before and after the big day. . . excuse me for not knowing every single person's names - it was a big, long weekend with lots of new friends, family and faces.

Thursday morning Mum and Dad picked me up at Heathrow and we headed down to Sunny Salcombe to meet the new family, and what a rowdy bunch!! The marquee was up already and Bob cooked crab they'd caught that day. . .(but enough of all that because I have no pics)

Friday was the like Christmas Eve. . . the day before the wedding. Anticipation building and more grog being bought. After we moved down to Beach House Quay, site of Saturday's wedding, we headed over in a ferry to the Ferry Inn which was when I pulled out the camera.
